Chelsea reported that Harrison met a new friend at the park yesterday. When I picked him up from Finny’s house Harrison informed me of her name, but, only after some prompting. Zoe. …and the angels sang. He apparently followed her lead with the enthusiasm of a hungry, lost puppy. Zoe: “Wanna go on the slide?” [...]

While FUBALLLLLL is still firmly implanted in the kid’s brain as a worthy activity, a new one followed as an even longer lasting obsession. Elizabeth and her boyfriend Dave took H to the Children’s Museum where they discovered his apparent talent and love of every parents worst nightmare. Apparently he stayed and played the drums [...]

Marc kept a yellow Tupperware cup from when he was a kid and will only drink water from THAT cup. It has followed him from Bakersfield to college to Tahoe and all then the way to Austin. He hides it up an a shelf that I can’t reach because if I could, I would wash [...]

We have so many photos and videos from this summer that I never even uploaded, so, I’m going to try to add a few each day. Here’s a good one: It should be noted that Marc had been giving these rides over and over and over (notice the “more, more, more” at beginning and end), [...]

I have many, many drafts about this whirlwind summer saved – [...]

We’re on the second day of a universe-enforced vacation. My computer died. It needs a new motherboard. Not entirely sure what that means – other than $1500 that should not have been covered by Apple because the warranty expired. Which would have meant 3 days without a computer and a $1500 bill!? yikes! However, Marc [...]

was a trip to the Tahoe City fire station. Where an awe-struck little boy with his mouth permanently agape held his breath for 15 minutes while the fire chief showed us his F-I-R-E-T-R-U-C-K! And then let him GET IN! And gave H a fireman’s HAT! The experience made Marc’s -er- Harrison’s day. Listening: Amanda Palmer [...]

I dreamt of this, even before you were born. And considering that your dad is tone deaf and I do not have the patience to learn guitar, the responsibility falls to you, little one, to bring live music into this house. Listening: Thao (super fun video)
