“Ride MY bike.” is pretty much the only thing the kid wants to do these days – inside the house and out. Morning and night. As soon as he wakes and instead of going to sleep. Even while he watches TV:

I keep showing Tyler the videos of Harrison riding his bike in the hopes that peer pressure will make him want to ride his. I make a huge deal out of Harrison and then say, “do you want to go try to ride your bike like Harrison!?” To which he simply responds, “no thank you.” I’m so impressed with Harrison.
nicole – you’re so funny! don’t worry – Tyler will take to it when he’s ready… and if not – Shay will be probably be riding it before you know it!

oh – one thing that H thought was fun before he “rode” his bike (we gave it to him at 18 months and he would attempt to sit on it) – was to let him “work on it” with a wrench – pump up the tires, tighten bolts, etc… kind of like what they say with kids and eating – if they help make the food then they tend to be less picky… just a thought.
we are actually trying to figure out how we will get his bike out to CA because I don’t know how he will go a day without it – let alone 3 weeks!
