in the car

The kid has been just an absolute joy to be with the last few weeks, which leads me to believe that we will be severely punished soon with more teeth, a cold or something really bad like accidentally getting pregnant again (that’s a JOKE grandmas! There’s really only a very, very, very, very small chance that it could happen. In fact I’m already regretting typing that and will not be responding to any comments or emails asking if there is a second grandchild on the way.).

We had a great weekend doing nothing that resembled anything even close to responsible like cleaning the house, raking the leaves, putting away the toys that have been strewn about the front yard and instead we just played. It was awesome.

Here’s a little bit of what it’s like driving around town with a 17-month old:

Pretty great.

yeah… I think we’re just about settled. If he keeps this up ’til Christmas – he can stay. Otherwise we’re shipping him to Palm Desert to learn the fine art of photography.
