undying devotion

Oh internet – we used to be so good together. Our relationship used to be one of equality. Of understanding. I’m sorry that I can’t always be here for you. I understand you have needs, but, so do I. I assure you, I have not taken you for granted, it’s just that there are other things in my life that need tending to right now. I promise to work on creating balance and focus more of my attention to you. In the meantime, take this:

as a token of my undying devotion to you.

Listening: sadly, nothing. (And no, that is not the latest emo band. My DJ is out playing golf while I try to get out from under the mountain of a to-do list I’m working on.)

  1. What a fun time. We miss you all so much already. Give Harrison a big hug for us.

  2. it might not be obvious that he’s eating his bday cake in this picture… so much of it is gone! i didn’t realize he ate so much of it.

  3. oh – come now… it was a really small cake!
    : P

but, seriously – I’ve never seen a 1-year old eat so much of the cake! I thought the idea was to just smear the frosting all over your face and be done with it!
