a big, stinky milestone
I vowed not to discuss the P-word on this blog, but, I have to suspend that ban for 1 post, because… the kid pooped on the potty! A little lime-green training potty. This was obviously an attempt on our part to “keep up with the Chowanec’s” as they start potty-training at 6 months – the ultimate over-achievers. The only challenge was supplying the kid with enough toys to keep him sitting in one place for long enough. But, we did it with Elizabeth’s help. Totally cool.

Yippee – what a great kid.
You’ll thank us later when you’re at the park or something and some other kid walks up to his mom and says, in a fully formed sentence, “Mother, I have pooped in my diaper. Please clean me up.”
Now, what’s more terrifying, potty training them now when they’re super cute about it, or wiping up 2 year old crap while your kid has a conversation with you about the playground?
