thankful

I just dropped H off at day care. And it is so incredibly cool that I walk in, set him on the ground, he chats it up a bit with his buddy Finn for a moment and then dives into the toys. I set up his gear for the day and then give him a wave goodbye and head out. He loves his Elizabeth.

And loves hanging out with his buddy, Finn. There is no fussing, no tears – he just as happy as a clam to be without me and Marc for the day and for that I am THRILLED!

Yesterday they were here and had some outside time playing with trying to understand bubbles – those pesky ephemeral orbs are perhaps too fleeting for the 10-month old brain to comprehend. But, being outside is always cool. While they were hanging I was able to get some great shots of the sweet, the funny, the mischievous – mister “BeginAgain” himself:

  1. what a great post! reading about your weee one makes me anticipate, with glee, my son getting older and experiencing all these fun things for the first time…bubbles, friends, and so on.

  2. Wonderful photos. How great for them to grow up together.

  3. So so cute. Sorry I haven’t been commenting lately. Work has been busy. I have definitely been reading the blog and I am too angry at that cat of yours for scratching little H’s face. Mean kitty!!

  4. What great shots of Finn! I love the ones from a couple days ago, too, of H – especially the one with blue all around his mouth.
