Apart from being totally slammed at work with some really great projects, we are planning to get away a bit early for Thanksgiving. We are headed to Marfa, TX this weekend – where the uber-hipsters go to be all arty and stuff – to meet up with our soon-to-be-famous-photographer friends because they are traveling 2,000 miles to do an engagement shoot – yes, they are that cool. So, when push comes to shove the blog suffers, partly because I don’t have as much time as I’d like to write and partly because when we’re working so much I have nothing to say… The internet does not want to hear about how Marc and I ate cookies for lunch – again -OR- how I reorganized my desktop icons in a much more pleasing layout -OR- how I decided that some projects work better after a glass of wine – what!? The nanny is here until 5:30pm – give me a break!
So, I was going to skip a post today, because let’s be honest – most of the time I feel like I’m writing this for my mom, who inevitably calls me to talk about the post or to tell me how cute it was. But, today I noticed that there were 5 comments on yesterday’s post. That touched my heart and reaffirmed why I do this – because this is a way to stay in touch with friends and family and to assure that the boy has a network of loved ones as he grows up. I love that! yay internet!

Well I must confess I probably check the blog at least 5 or 6 times a day to see what’s new. I called this morning but it went straight to voicemail. Love, Mom
Dude, I love your blog. I appreciate any time you write. It helps me to appreciate all the fun stuff I get to go through with Finners now and all the things that I get to look forward to. Thanks for writing and keeping me amused during my maternity leave.
I cant wait to see you guys! AND, shoot your family! Bring some groovy stuff to wear, we are going to have funnnnnn! Im thinking ol airplane hanger, marc in some tights and a pirate hat, you in a too too and pointy shoes??? and the lil one just sitting there all cute and stuff!
Now Albert, that I would love to see. Have fun you guys.
Aimee,
I check your blog every day myself. It’s actually 6:50 a.m. and I decided to eagerly check your website while munching on my cereal. Your blog reconfirms my hope that you’ll write a book every time I read it. Or, maybe you could just write a letter one day addressed to Kylie’s high school friends…ha! Harrison is one lucky boy to have a such a cool and loving mom.
You have many fans. We all depend on you for daily amusement.
