love
I never realized how happy it would make me to witness the love between my husband and another human being.

But, seeing Marc with our son fills me with more joy than when we finally made it to Indonesia on our honeymoon.
It took a soot-covered ferry ride from Bali to Lombok followed by a long, hot, uncomfortable bus trip to the opposite coast; then a boat ride – not for the sea-sick-inclined – to Gili Meno (the smallest and least favored of three Gilis among the spring-break-party-seekers that shared our ride over) where after walking up and down the beach twice with our backpacks on we found accommodations at a bungalow set back from the beach for $5 a day with a salt water shower and no electricity at night. I know, this trip wasn’t for everybody – but, for us, at that time, it was perfect. Waking up that next morning – sticky from sweat because we didn’t have air conditioning let alone windows – to enjoy breakfast on the beach at a deserted restaurant of a hard boiled egg served in a bowl of curry with Indonesian coffee… heavenly… but, seeing Marc with Harrison – better. Now, I just can’t wait to travel with both of my boys.
Listening: Beach House… again… please somebody send us some new morning music!

Oh that is too much! I can’t wait! Babies and sappy hubbies are the most lovely thing in the world.
