1 weekend - 2 restaurants
Hallelujah! We have left the house with a baby, gone into a dining establishment, purchased food, eaten said food inconspicuously enough that we will be able to return - TWICE in one weekend!

I am pleased to record that the kid experienced his first dim sum as well as his second Mexican dinner outside of the house! Dim sum was a breeze - the late morning timing is pretty ideal for him. Mexican was another story. Had we not had plans to meet our friends Kris and Ashley at Polvos, we probably wouldn’t have left the house. But, we did. The kid cried and fussed the entire ride over with me hovering over him from the backseat stuffing anything I could find into his mouth, shaking his seat and shhh-ing my brains out to try to calm him… to no avail. We pull into the parking lot with a screaming child. But, Marc - completely unafraid - grabbed the kid put him into the football-hold-daddy-calming-position and went inside. They were blasting Radiohead, which apparently is the kid’s new favorite band. He was awesome all night - three hours, two pitchers of margaritas and countless remarks from other restaurant patrons about how cute he is later we left. Of course, the minute we shut the car doors he was a screaming insane person again, until we got him home and in bed where he slept for 8 1/2 hours straight. But, you have to admire those manners.

As long as they behave in public. Tomorrow is “H” day. Mom
This might sound crazy — but is it the car-seat? I know Nicole had issues with the one she borrowed and Tyler…?
