I am besides myself in excitement, Dad is trying to be cool and say that it will be a couple of years before he can interact with his grandson but I know underneath he is as thrilled as I am. I faithfully took Lamaze classes (they were six classes long) and got quite good at standing a charlie horse grip at the knee. (That was our practice exercise). Anyway the thing I remember most, aside from the breathing techniques, was the teachers mantra, "It's not pain, it's pressure." Seriouly, and I beleived it! It was drilled into us. When I gave those encouraging words to Meredith, she look at me like I was a nut case. Well you have to remember that was the 60s and early 70s. You are both in for the inspiration of your life.
