Baby Blase

We walked downtown last night (4 miles total - congratulations joints - you are still holding up even with the 30 pound mass that has accumulated around our middle) to see Smart People - we are determined to see all decent movies that come to the Alamo Ritz or South Lamar before the little monster comes. Marc was hoping that one of those trips to the theater would include the Bill & Ted’s Excellent Quote-A-Thon. Unfortunately we have plans tonight… I’m REALLY bummed.

The trailers began as I was running OK, fine - there hasn’t been any running in quite a while - walking briskly back from the bathroom. And, perhaps it was the loud-talker two seats down, or the fact that we are coming to the end of this pregnancy, but, for once the Young At Heart trailer did not bring a tear to my eye. We have seen the trailer at least three times previously and I have cried each time. It has been so bad, that Marc doesn’t even watch the screen - he conspicuously turns to see his wife cry at the old people. But, no longer! Perhaps the waterworks are finally under control.
